It was a far different scene Monday night and into the early morning when dozens of distraught people took to the streets after learning of an incident that left a woman and her ex-boyfriend dead and the woman’s son injured with a gunshot wound. Fresno, CA: Police are looking into a possible murder-suicide that left a woman dead in a Fresno apartment and her new husband dead in Southern California. The body of 40-year-old Santiago Flores was found inside a car in a parking lot in Montclair, Calif. in San Bernardino County on Monday morning. Houston, TX: On Monday afternoon, police released the identity of a man who was found fatally stabbed with a stiletto heel early Sunday morning. The stabbing took place inside of his high-rise condo in the Museum District. Spanish Fork, UT: Spanish Fork investigators believe a 21-year-old man killed his toddler and then himself on Sunday night in the house he shared with his grandparents. Police responding to a 911 call from the man's sister found the bodies of Bryson Drew and two-year-old Chanse Drew shortly before 9 p.m. in the home at 826 South Fox Hill Drive. Bryson was found in the basement with a self-inflicted gunshot wound and Chanse in a bedroom with "a lot of blunt force trauma to the body," according to Lt. East St. Louis, IL: An East St. Louis woman has been charged with stabbing her husband in the back and killing him. Tammy M. Carpenter, 44, of the 2900 block of Waverly Avenue, was charged Sunday with first-degree murder. She is being held in the St. Clair County Jail in lieu of a $1 million bail. Colerain, OH: Colerain Township police have charged a woman with Saturday's fatal stabbing at a hotel on Colerain Avenue. Shanice Shade was arrested for unrelated outstanding warrants after police saw her leave the hotel with her two children after the stabbing occurred. Shade is being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center. Her attorney said Shade had been injured when she was struck in the head before the stabbing.
