Federal Way, WA: More details are emerging two days after a shooting spree that left five dead in Federal Way. The shooter, a 28-year-old male, has been identified through various media reports as Dennis Clark III. Clark fatally shot his girlfriend in the head on Sunday night, then killed three more people at the Pinewood Village Apartments, located near South 333rd Street and Pacific Highway South. Federal Way police encountered and shot Clark in a stairwell. Clark retreated on foot, and according to police, had ignored commands to stop reaching for a handgun on the ground. Live Oak, TX: Autopsy results released Tuesday confirmed that a Live Oak couple died in a murder-suicide at their home over the weekend. Colen Burke, 44, and Esther Burke, 40, were found dead Sunday evening at their home in the 11600 block of Lone Shadow Trail, according to a Live Oak police statement. Sgt. Greenwood, FL: The search is over and the man suspected of killing a Greenwood woman is in the Jackson County jail. An intense 48 hour manhunt ended just before dawn Tuesday when Andrew David Johnson did police a favor and surrendered. According to Chief Hayes Baggett of the Marianna Police Department, Johnson approached officers outside the station and said he was a wanted man. Lorain, OH: Shone Whitney, 31, was identified as the assailant and third person found dead in Sunday’s double-murder and suicide at 221 E. 30th St. Whitney, Halyna Whitney, 29, and William Everett, 33, were discovered Sunday afternoon in an upstairs bedroom at Halyna Whitney’s East 30th Street home. Richmond, VA: Police have released the names of the two people killed in an apparent murder-suicide Saturday afternoon in South Richmond. Richmond police said Christine Squire, 33, and Clarence Taylor II, 38 were found dead inside a home in the 3900 block of Rusk Avenue after a four-hour standoff that wounded two police officers. Westfield, PA: A 51-year-old Westfield man was shot dead by police Friday night after he killed his ex-girlfriend, authorities said Saturday. Vicki L. Copp, 34, and Barry L. Mead Sr., 51, both of Westfield, were each pronounced dead at the scene by Tioga County Coroner Lee Strange. The deaths occurred at Copp’s West Main Street residence. Feasterville, PA: Violeta Isackov was set to marry on April 28. She had an appointment for a final fitting of her light rose-colored wedding dress Thursday night. But the 45-year-old Northampton resident never showed, never even made it out of her car. Atlanta, GA: A suspect was arrested early Sunday and charged with fatally shooting a man and a woman in northwest Atlanta last week. Michael O’Neal, 27, is charged with two counts of murder and is being held at the Fulton County Jail, police said. Two people were found shot to death Wednesday afternoon in the 500 block of Holly Street, off Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway. Both were shot multiple times in what investigators believe began as a domestic dispute between O’Neal and the female victim. Pulaski County, KY: A Pulaski County couple died Tuesday in an apparent murder-suicide, according to a news release from the office of Sheriff Todd Wood. Police said Vernon Lee Barnes, 34, and his wife, Paula Jean Barnes, 33, were having marital problems and that she was making plans to separate from him. The two apparently argued at midday Tuesday.
