Center Township, PA: A Butler County man shot his girlfriend to death while she was moving out before killing himself, state police said on Saturday. Dean V. Clawson, 49, shot Sonja Kummer, 45, outside their Brown Road, Center, home about 1:40 a.m. Saturday, Trooper Gesuele Burello said. Garbarino, 68, a widow, was beaten to death inside her Grandview Avenue home late last week. Drummonds, TN: The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation on Monday charged a 40-year-old Drummonds man with killing his wife during an argument Friday. Richard Alan Hatchel told investigators that while arguing with his wife Friday morning, he shot her with a rifle that he retrieved from his car, according to a TBI news release. Christina Lazzana-Webster and her husband owned Big Top Popcorn in the East Brooke Commons Plaza at Gratiot at 9 Mile. They opened the storefront in 2010 after operating a kiosk at Great Lakes Crossing.
