She remains in critical condition at a Houston hospital. Grand Rapids, MI: Police are trying to determine what led Danyiel Jammar Davis to kill his ex-wife, then himself, while her young children were in the house. Davis shot Amy Diane Cosgrove, 26, outside of her home at 650 Oakland Ave. SW. Witnesses said she ran barefoot trying escape the gunman before she collapsed in the road just down the street. 
Queens, NY: A man confessed to murdering a 16-year-old girl in Brownsville, claiming he meant to slash her face and accidentally slashed her throat, killing her. Rashad Salaam, 22, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with murder in savage slaying of Kyanna Thomas. 
Bremen, GA: A Bremen man in his 70s has been charged with murdering his wife. According to the Haralson County Sheriff’s Office, a call came in between 7:30 and 8 p.m. Wednesday night reporting that 76-year-old Elizabeth Adams had been shot. When police arrived at the scene, they arrested her husband, Thomas Adams, for first degree murder. 
Hartford, CT: West Hartford police have a man custody who is supsected of killing his ex-girlfriend. Suzete Berrincha, 22, was killed at her parents' home on Westphal Street, police said. A 911 call alerted police to some type fight at the home around 5:30 p.m. Thursday. When officers arrived, they found Berrincha suffering from multiple stab wounds, according to police. 
Glendale, AZ: Glendale Police have arrested a man in the murder of his wife and say three children were inside the residence when it happened. According to investigators, a 17-year-old called police just after 3 a.m. When police arrived, they found 38-year-old Fedra Valenzuela-Aranda dead of at least one gunshot wound. 
Cuthbert, GA: Police were dispatched to a home on Court Street in Cuthbert in Randolph County to investigate a shooting. However they soon discovered that they needed some help. Upon arrival at the scene, Cuthbert police along with the Georgia Bureau of Investigations discovered the body of Sabrina Bellamy who according to police was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and pronounce dead on scene. 
Providence, KY: A Webster County, Ky., man was in jail Monday night after he allegedly killed his ex-girlfriend and another man. Michael A. Musarra, 43, of Providence, Ky., has been charged with murder, attempted murder and first-degree burglary after allegedly shooting Erika L. Hutchason, 43, of Providence, and stabbing Anthony H. Culp, 39, of Clay. 
Suffolk, VA: The Rev. Jim George remembers one of the last times he saw Deborah Marlo Wigg. She was at his church, Hillcrest Baptist, a place she attended growing up and where she taught Sunday school. "I remember her sitting there enjoying worship with everyone else," George said. "She was very content." Wigg, 39, was quiet and caring, he said, with "a glow of life around her." But in February, she had filed to divorce her husband, Robert Lyndon Wigg, claiming he had physically and mentally abused her, court records show. 
Fond du Lac, WI: Police have arrested a 35-year-old Fond du Lac man accused of shooting his wife in the head. The search for Jason E. Anderson began after police found his wife, Nicole L. Anderson, 33, dead of a single gunshot wound about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the couple’s home at 312 Winnebago Drive. He was arrested in Birmingham, Ala., said Fond du Lac Police Department Capt. Steve Klein. 
Fairfield, CA: A man shot and killed his wife in a moving car before turning the gun on himself in Fairfield on Thursday as Solano County sheriff's deputies tried to stop the vehicle, authorities said. Jeffersonville, IN: A woman is dead and her estranged husband charged with murder after a stabbing in Jeffersonville. Police said it happened at the Lafayette Square Apartments on Sunday afternoon. The victim is 30-year-old Kelly Bagshaw, a mother of two young children. 
Rochester, NY: They say he touched people's lives with a simple smile. On Saturday, a disabled Rochester man -- brutally killed -- was laid to rest. Family and friends said their goodbyes to 23-year-old Cameron Conyer. Conyer and his mother were attacked at their Clifford Avenue home on November 13. While his mother survived, Conyer died from his injuries. 
Hempfield Township, PA: An arrest has been made after a 40-year-old woman was found beaten to death in what police described as "a horrific scene" inside her Hempfield Township home. Tina Ohler was found dead in an upstairs apartment on Elkhart Street Sunday afternoon. 
Mahopac, NY: Like many members of the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department family, Ed Scott was saddened by the violent death last week of department president Michael Purdy, who was fatally shot by a co-worker whose estranged wife Purdy had just returned from having dinner with that night. 
Lapeer County, MI: The family of a 20-year-old slain woman is searching for answers to why her boyfriend allegedly
this month has been ruled a murder-suicide, according to a Tuesday news release from the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office. Grant Wadman, 57, apparently shot his wife, Marilee Wadman, 41, then killed himself, according to investigators. 
Las Vegas, NV: A woman and her toddler are murdered by her ex-boyfriend. Police say after killing his ex and their daughter, he turned the gun on himself. A friend tells Action News this is such a tragedy because a 13-year-old son is left behind. Police say Veronica Erazo and her three-year-old daughter Sabrina were murdered by Sabrina's father and Veronica's ex-boyfriend. 
Isabella County, MI: Police have arrested a Weidman man on an open murder charge in connection with the shooting death of his wife. Jason Fish, 35, is in custody, accused of shooting 34-year Stephanie Rochelle Fish at their home in the 900 block of North Rolland Road near Weidman Friday. 
Greensboro, NC: Family and friends gathered Thursday night to remember the lives of five young people gunned down in a family massacre near Greensboro more than a week ago. “Five caskets, five young people, I mean, when you see it, it just breaks your heat,” Pastor Michael Barrett said. Mary Ann Holder, 36, is accused of killing her two sons — Robert Dylan Smith, 17, and Zachary Smith, 14. Guilford County Sheriff BJ Barnes said she also killed the niece and nephew she took into her home when her sister died — Richard Brian Suttles, 17, and Hannaleigh Suttles, 8. She also mortally wounded Makayla Leigh Woods, Robert's 15-year-old girlfriend. 
Auburn, NY: An Auburn man is accused of fatally stabbing his former girlfriend while their 3-year-old son lay sleeping unharmed in an upstairs bedroom, Auburn police said this morning. Ryan P. Brahney, 39, of 128 VanAnden St., faces charges of second-degree murder, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and first-degree criminal contempt. 
Cleveland, OH: Authorities have found two people dead inside an east side home - the possible result of a murder suicide. 
Myrtle Beach, SC: The Horry County Police Department has taken a Myrtle Beach man into custody after he allegedly admitted to stabbing his wife to death in their Carolina Forest home, and authorities are now releasing the name of the homicide victim. Detectives arrested James Edward Lippert, 48, after a domestic altercation that resulted in the death of his wife, 38-year-old Marsella Lippert, Monday night. 
Harlem, NY: The man who confessed to killing an Italian woman [Rita Morelli] inside her East Harlem apartment claimed he was possessed by an "evil spell," police said Thursday. Bakary Camara, 41, who once dated the slain woman, penned his confession in a three-page letter tucked in his pocket as he tried to stab himself to death after cops burst into his Bronx home, police said. 
Fayetteville, NC: Fayetteville police have charged a man with murder in a double homicide that took place off Rosehill Road late Wednesday night, according to court records. Jermaine Lamar Johnson, listed as homeless, is charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of Tierra Nicole Underwood, 29, and Benita Diane McMillan, 24, according to court documents.

Manatee, FL: A Bradenton man shot and killed his ex-girlfriend and then himself on Thanksgiving Day night in a Palmetto apartment, authorities said. Manatee County deputies responded to a shooting at 26-year-old William Rolston's apartment in the 4700 block of U.S. 41 North in Palmetto about 7 p.m. Thursday and found Rolston and Lindsay A. Bellows, also 26, dead. 
Kansas City, MO: Friends and family members are remembering a 16-year-old girl who was slain on Thanksgiving. 
DeSoto, TX: Three people are dead after a shooting at a DeSoto home Friday afternoon.
Carlsbad, CA: A 34-year-old Carlsbad woman found strangled Saturday had gotten a restraining order just days earlier against the former boyfriend now accused of kidnapping and killing her. Kathy Cary Scharbarth had gotten the order against Michael David Robles, 43, of Fallbrook, as part of a case of alleged domestic violence. When she went missing Thursday, her family and current boyfriend notified police. 
Swatara, PA: A Dauphin County community is in shock Saturday as they deal with a murder-suicide in their neighborhood and the loss of two people. Swatara Township Police would only say that the victims are related and that one of them is a juvenile. But neighbors, who know the family well and other police sources tell CBS 21 that they believe a father shot his 16 year old daughter. People who know the teen victim say she is 16-year-old Taysia Jarmuzek. 
Columbus, GA: Columbus police are investigating what they’re calling the murder-suicide of a married Army couple at their St. Marys Road apartment Saturday night. Ruby Grant, 21, and Freddie Grant, 27, were found fatally shot inside their Huckleberry Hill apartment, 4570 St. Marys Road, about 7 p.m. Initially responding to the home about a young child being outside, officers found the bodies when they stepped inside the couple’s apartment, authorities said. 
Hermitage, TN: A mother and her unborn child were killed after an argument with her boyfriend allegedly escalated in their Hermitage home. It happened in the development on 421 Raintree Road. A sign on the front door in French reads, "All Is Well With Jesus." But below that hangs a very different sign: the contamination warning left by police overnight after 44-year-old Almise Delirus, originally from Haiti, and her unborn child were shot to death inside the home. 
Gilroy, CA: The body of a San Jose Police officer was found Sunday night in what Gilroy Police are calling a murder-suicide. Officers found the bodies when they were doing a welfare check at the request of friends and family. Police say that friends and family called 911 after they could not get in touch with Christopher Shimek or his wife. 
Mentor, OH: The body of a woman found in a garage Sunday was identified as Diane Stroud, wife of former Mentor police officer Gary Stroud, who is charged with murder. Mentor-on-the Lake Police Chief John Gielink revealed Wednesday that Lake County Coroner Dr. Lynn Smith said the woman died of blunt force trauma. 
Mason, MI: Huron County investigators say they believe a man and woman found dead in an Ingham County motel room are a former Bad Axe Police chief and his wife. Gary E. Bucholtz, 58, and his 38-year-old wife, Rhonda L. Bucholtz, were reported missing by family members who were “very concerned because of marital difficulties that had evolved over the last several months,” said Sheriff Kelly J. Hanson. 
Castle Hayne, NC: Bond was set at $1 million Wednesday for a former Marine charged with second-degree homicide after he allegedly killed his wife at their home in Castle Hayne. William Keith Waters, 48, was being held at the New Hanover County jail. Authorities said Kay Humbles Waters, 56, was killed at 3525 Hanover Ave.
