Frederick County, VA:  The shooting deaths of a Frederick County couple found on Saturday were a murder-suicide, authorities say.  Michael Cross, 51, shot his wife, Susan, 46, and then himself in their home at 451 Winding Hill Road, according to Capt. On Saturday night police found 51-year-old Vernon Love dead on the floor of his home in the 1500 block of West Main from a single gunshot wound. Police on Monday were searching for the woman's ex-husband, who they said also lived in the Briar Street apartment and was a person of interest in the case. A Volusia County grand jury also charged 33-year-old Michael Annicchiarico with tempering with evidence. Edwardsville, MO:  A man and woman found dead in their rural Edwardsville home Monday have been identified as Khalil M. Mikhayel, 53, and his wife, Marwa Heneidi, 48.  Sheriff's Capt. Brad Wells said the deaths appeared to be a homicide and suicide and said no other suspects were being sought.  Madison County Coroner Steve Nonn said Heneidi was beaten and stabbed. Barbour County, WV:  A Galloway man accused of beating his ex-wife to death with a baseball bat was indicted by a Barbour County grand jury Monday.  Thomas Charlie Lee Runner, 46, of Galloway, will be arraigned at 9 a.m. Wednesday on the charge of first-degree murder. Runner remains lodged in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail without bond.  According to the criminal complaint, Runner is accused of entering the residence of his ex-wife, Beverly Anne Runner, by removing the air conditioner unit on Oct. 20, 2011.  Once inside the residence, Thomas Runner "hit the victim several times in the head with a wooden ball bat until she was dead," according to the complaint.  » more at The InterMountain

Boynton Beach, FL: Boynton Beach Police have charged William Paul Dabbs with first-degree murder, saying he fired five bullets from a .380 caliber handgun that killed his boss on a sunny morning two weeks ago.  Dabbs, 54, is expected to make his first court appearance on that charge today. He is already being held in lieu of $125,000 bond for possession of a weapon by a convicted Florida felon, aggravated assault on a police officer, and fleeing and eluding law enforcement at high speed.
